Now is the time to perfect Linen Stitch!

Hello Crochet Friends!

I am excited to let you know that I have two new patterns launching soon that will join the Will Travel For Wool crochet pattern portfolio!

It takes a lot of steps to bring a crochet idea to life that will end in a pattern worth selling. The process looks something like this... After the initial idea and creation of the crochet item, you send the written draft to your editor. Following all the amendments, you send the pattern to a Pattern Grader who uses a spreadsheet and incredible maths to create 10- 12 sizes of the pattern. Next we have to test all the sizes, make sure they fit each size as intended. To do this we run a 'test crochet' where selected crocheters use the written instructions and actually make the item. This is in itself is at least a 6 week period. After all the crocheters have completed the item, given feedback and taken photos, you finesse the written pattern and format it to be an easy to read and visually pleasing document. Last but not least is photography and filming. As you know I like to add a video tutorial for my patterns so I film myself making the pattern and add a link to the pattern. Finally, when you see me chatting about it on Instagram, you know it's just about ready to launch!

These past couple weeks, I have been eeking out hints and pics on Instagram for my next pattern launch! It's not quite ready for sale yet but I am here to tell you that the pattern uses the crochet Linen Stitch and I have posted a tutorial on my Youtube page to help you prepare! You can see it here! I recommend you grab a scrap of yarn and make a swatch of the crochet Linen Stitch to get prepared if you are keen!!

Cheers, Jennine
